Mario Andretti drove this car in the race.  Three other Andretti's, Michael, Jeff and John, qualified for the same race.  Michael, Mario, and John finished in the top ten, and Jeff was named Rookie of the Year. It was a first in the history of the Indianapolis 500, that four members of the same family qualified for the same race.
